Weekend Outlook 10/5
There are a bunch of cool things happening around town this weekend, but here are a few that jumped out to me as the most interesting. I’ll be hitting up a few of these so be sure to say hi if you see me!
Cocktails and Screams is hosting their soft opening Saturday night downtown. I’ve been anxiously awaiting the arrival of this spooky bar and it is is opening just in time for Halloween. It is owned by the same people who created Joysticks, the downtown video game bar so I expect a high level of attention to detail and many spooky surprises. Keep an eye on my instagram stories for updates.
Palmers Garden and Goods will be holding a fall Pumpkin Party this Sunday from noon until 5pm. This little event is great for the whole family. I am going to try and make it out there to check it out. I can’t wait to see what the succulent station entails.
Looking for something to do with the kids? Check out the Audubon Park Night Market + Zombiefest. From 5-8pm there will be kids events and a costume contest plus all of the usual Night Market events until 10pm. Get a start on your holiday shopping or just grab something to eat and a gift for yourself. There will also be a free outdoor screening of Little Shop of Horrors at 7:30 pm. Details here.
Wanna see some soccer? The Orlando Pride play Saturday night at Exploria Stadium against the Washington Spirit. Game starts at 5pm. Pride games have a smaller attendance then the men’s team, but are still great games. Every seat in the stadium is a good one, and everyone has a fun time.
Where will we see you around town this weekend?
